Way to Ovarian Induction (OI)
It is basically medicated treatment for starting the development of mature follicles in ovaries of female that have ovulation and other infertility issues.
Ovulation Induction in India
Basically there are two methods for OI in India.
Menstruation disorder
First method is applied on the women that do not have spontaneously ovulation means with irregular or infrequent menstruation. In this method is applied with the aim to stimulate the release of one egg each month and is done with the fertility pills. In few cases small dose of Gonadotropins is injected as per necessity due to ineffectiveness of pills.
Unexplained or male infertility
In this condition women are having regular menstruation cycle but suffering due to unexplained or mild male infertility problem. so the women are treated with the second method with the aim of stimulating 2-4 large follicles so that several eggs can be released for the fertilization process. It can be done with injection of Gonadotropins and even this procedure can be combined with the Intra Uterine insemination (IUI) for bringing the eggs closer to sperms.
Women under this treatment are monitored with the vaginal ultrasound scans so that response of follicles can be observed in the ovary until the follicle approach in 18mm diameter then egg is considered as mature and ready to release. Woman can need 2-4 scans during this treatment depending on problem and condition.
IVF specialists can prescribe for controlled dose of FSH and other hormone for the successful treatment and even doctors monitor the effect of these hormones and ensure the maturity of follicles with the prevention of premature ovulation.
In case of negative response of hormones dose of FSH can be increased with controlled manner and then again monitoring is done even in few cases blood tests and ultrasound are conducted till the reach of follicles in the 18mm diameter of egg so sure maturity of egg.
IVF treatment can be done successfully in both cases normal and with Ovulation Induction In India.
