Infertility Specialist Dr. Sumita Sofat’s Test Tube Baby Centre (Sofat Infertility & Women Care Centre) has Brought honor to Ludhiana. From Oxford England, she was rewarded with an Honorary Professor of Academic Union. The program was organized in the Oxford Town Hall and during the Secretary ceremony, the award was given.
In India, she is the first fertility doctor who received this huge privilege. From the last 24 years, she has given a great amount of contribution in the field of infertility treatment. Infertility treatment experts from various countries Germany, South Africa, Denmark, Pakistan, and England arrived.
In the last 24 years, Dr. Sumita Sofat and her team have given the happiness of becoming parents to more than 20,00 people. In North India, she introduced treatment options like ICSI and tissue freezing. After getting this award for her contribution she said it has given her motivation to do better work and with loyalty. She said her main aim is to help the childless couple so that they can also embrace the journey of parenthood.
Five years back, she froze a man’s sperm within 3 hours of his death. This helped her wife to become a mother even after his death. No one would have thought this can happen, but Dr. Sumita Sofat hard work and dedication have proved you can make things possible.
